A true champion never rests on his laurels. He believes that winning should not end with just one victory. And that is why a champion must be consistent all the time. Always going for the win. Always conducting himself like a champion – driven, determined, honest, disciplined. It is on these precepts that the MILO® Little Olympics based the concept of the Perpetual Trophy. This important piece of artifact is more than just an award. It is the recognition given to the region that has best exemplified the qualities of a true champion in the National Competition. It is won by the region that gets the most points through winning gold, silver and bronze medals. Then the winner will be dubbed the National Overall Champion. At least for one year. The National Overall Champion must prove itself to be worthy of the title and of the Perpetual Trophy by laying it all on the line once more. The Perpetual Trophy is a reminder of what MILO® Little Olympics stands for. Though it is true that each little champion is a winner in his own right, winning the Perpetual Trophy is the confirmation of how hard they worked, how long they trained and how big their hearts are. |
