NESVITA Pro-Weight Management’s WEIGHT AND SEE: The Wait Is Over

NESVITA Pro-Weight Management’s  “Weight & See” video contest showcased many tips and secrets to weight management. After the nomination of the TOP 10 entries, online votes poured and viewers picked their top choices.

The winners
It was a thrill to hear the winners’ stories on how they promoted their videos to win votes. Steve Christopher Wong, a 40-year old high-school teacher who won the P50,000 grand prize and iPod Touch eagerly shared where he got his votes from. Having a lot of students who got so passionate of voting for him is an advantage for Wong. Wong, who regularly works out in Fitness First, saw the poster announcing the contest and decided to join.  He shot his home-made video in a day inside his classroom when the students had gone home.  In his video, he reiterated the importance of exercise, proper diet and a healthy lifestyle as his secret in maintaining his weight.

The 2nd prize winner, 23 y.o. Jeffrey Sy was so elated when he found out that his entry won him P30,000 and an iPod Nano.  He ardently promoted his video entitled “S.E.E.cret to weight management” in popular social networking sites, which he said he produced for 3 days including shooting and editing. Sy regularly plays basketball and goes to the gym regularly to be able to gain weight since he is underweight.

For best friends Jerome Estrella and Chad Senga who are both 19 years old, winning the 3rd prize for their entry “Know Your Body First” is like winning in the lotto. The duo won P20,000 and an iPod Nano, and their happiness could not be concealed when they claimed their prize in the Nestlé office.  Buddies since high school, Senga shot the 30-second video with Estrella as his model in three days, and submitted it a day before the deadline. The duo actively promoted their entry in their school, doing text brigades and even sending out little flyers.  Both are basketball and swimming fanatics, and they reiterated in their homemade video the importance of physical activity to be in tip-top shape.

Other finalists were all cheery and ecstatic upon sharing the stories behind their entries. James Michael Deen, who won for his “Little things count” entry is currently on a self weight-loss program. He gladly shared how the iPod Nano will change his life, as it will inspire him by making his runs fun and efficient.

Carmen del Prado and Julian Rodriguez who won for their entry, “Our Secret”, were happy to receive their iPod Nano. Both are looking forward to joining the next Weight and See contest. Joining them was their fellow winner who was proud to show off his new iPod Nano, Gerardo Barcelona, whose entry is “Tubig para sa Too Big.”

The other winners also received an iPod nano each and these are Maui Reyes with her entry, “Brother,” James Edward Uy who won for his entry, “The 4 Aspects” and Monina Lao, with her entry “Just Move And Exercise.”

The winners were not only happy to get into the Top 10, but also found it fun to share their weight management secrets, while hoping that other people would take their advice to get into a healthy and active lifestyle too.
