National MILO Marathon

Building Champions since 1974.
National MILO Marathon

The National MILO Marathon is the country’s biggest, longest-running, and most prestigious running event and has been building champions since 1974. Held in 11 cities around the Philippines in 2019, the race is divided into five categories: the 3km family run, the 5km fun run, the 10km run, the 21km half marathon, and the 42.195km full marathon. The event has attracted around 4 million runners since its inception in 1974.

Since 2010, a portion of participants' registration fees has been applied to MILO's Help Give Shoes advocacy. This advocacy gives public school students a pair of running shoes with the help of the Department of Education. In 2014, 16,000 shoes were distributed to the typhoon-stricken kids of Tacloban to help them get back on their feet. Around 90,000 shoes have been distributed to school children during since the start of the advocacy.

The National MILO Marathon is a reflection of Nestlé’s purpose of enhancing quality of life and contributing to a healthier future.
