Nestlé needs YOUth equips young people with the skills they need to thrive in tomorrow’s workplaces. Focusing on employment/employability, entrepreneurship and agripreneurship, it has a range of initiatives for young leaders:
Nesternship
Engaging the youth and helping them be equipped with the right skills and experience at the workplace, Nestlé introduced the first regional (mainly virtual) internship program-Nesternship.
As a Nestern, you have the chance to level up your skills, gain on-the-job experience and expand your network, all from the comfort of your home.
Nestlé Management Trainee Program
Nestlé Management Trainee Program is an accelerated management programme that is aimed to develop high potential individuals as future leaders.
Fresh graduates will have real immersive learning experience to equip them with a holistic view of the business as well as the interrelationships between different functions across the value chain.
Most of my growth and development stemmed from my exposure to different responsibilities and areas at Nestle. All the skills and connections made throughout the program not only helped me in my current role, but also helped deepen my understanding of how financial systems work.
What really excites me going to work is that pride that I’m part of the Nestle organization wanting to deliver a safe and quality service, bringing best food and beverage to Filipino consumers.
Nestle helped me appreciate other aspects of finance that are not boxed into what we learn in college or in textbooks. I appreciated it the most when I got hands-on experience in supporting a Business Unit in their day-to-day activities.
