Nestlé Philippines Recognized for Top Talent Engagement by LinkedIn

Nestlé Philippines was one of five Philippine companies recognized by LinkedIn Asia Pacific for great work in engaging talent. The recognition was given during the Appreciation Night tendered by LinkedIn for selected and valued clients on November 20 at Fairmont Hotel in Makati. Nestlé was cited for Quality Employer Value Proposition (EVP) Representation.

Talent Acquisition and Development Head Hannah de Lumen, with Talent Acquisition Account Lead Kathleen Abaca, received the award on behalf of the Company from LinkedIn Asia Pacific Head of Customer Success Katerina Hanna and Senior Customer Success Manager David Collard. In awarding Nestlé Philippines, LinkedIn gave the following citation: “After only beginning work with LinkedIn towards the end of 2016, this team was clear that delivering their Employer Value Proposition clearly and consistently was going to be vital to their success. Working with them this year has been a real pleasure for the LinkedIn account team and we are delighted that they have managed to drive both high volumes of talent to look at their opportunities and to then convert into applications. We would therefore like to recognize the team from Nestlé for their quality, consistency and targeting of their job representations. Congratulations!”

The other companies that also received citations from LinkedIn were: Philippine Airlines (Growing Awareness of Talent Brand), Cebu Pacific (Engaging with Talent), and Globe and Voyager Innovations (Great Engagement for Passive Talent).

During the Appreciation Night, which was attended by key HR practitioners across the country, LinkedIn Asia Pacific Regional Sales Manager Atul Harkisanka acknowledged the growing member base and engagement of the Philippine talent economy in LinkedIn’s professional networking platform. He said the country has the 4th largest LinkedIn membership base in Asia, with more than four million members and more than 19,000 companies offering more than 19,000 jobs.
